On the fields of LLC "Agrofirma Meshchovskaya" in Kozelsky district these days receive a high yield of wheat – more than 50 centners per hectare. The company was founded in 2016 to provide the wheat processing plant of JSC "Biotechrosva" with a sufficient amount of its own raw materials. By the end of the week, with the help of high-performance equipment, the agricultural firm will have to remove about 800 hectares.
Promising crops continue to be grown in LLC "JV named after Dimitrov" meshchovsky district. Governor Anatoly Artamonov and the head of the largest farm in the municipality, Vasily Deordiev, visited the fields of rapeseed. Unpretentious to the presence of moisture and soil fertility, the plant grows well in the temperate zone of agriculture. In addition to rapeseed, oats, rye, barley, corn and other crops are grown here, which give a stable harvest and profit, allowing the farm to develop successfully.
Evaluating the achievements of modern breeding and new technologies in agricultural production, Anatoly Artamonov focused on the need to further increase the acreage.
According to the Ministry of agriculture, 18 districts of the region started harvesting grain. As of July 31, crops were harvested on an area of 3.1 thousand hectares (4% of the plan). 9.8 thousand tons of grain were harvested. The yield is 31.8 C / ha. High rates of grain harvesting in Khvastovichi, Kozelsky, Zhukovsky, Medynsky districts. Farms in the Peremyshl district hold the highest level of yield, which is about 79.3 C / ha (Ferzikovsky-51.2 C / ha, Baryatinsky-44.5 C / ha).
